Tali Gallery has been working with Elcho Island for several years – Â the art centre has gained a reputation for fine weaving, ochre paintings, barks and Morning Star Poles. Â The artists have been exhibited internationally including demonstrating their work at the British Museum. Â They are included in public and private collections throughout Australia and around the world. Â Elcho Island has also become very well known due to the popularity and fame of International performer, Geoffrey Gurrumul Yunupingu and the Chookie Dancers.
